Wander Wild in Killarney

The Wander Wild Festival in Killarney takes place from 4-6th April, offering outdoor adventure and wellness activities in the 26,000-acre Killarney National Park.

Ireland's great outdoors festival features over 100 day and evening activities “designed to invigorate, inspire and spark the soul of every adventurer and outdoor lover”.

From mountain climbs to wellness workshops, this weekend offers hikes and kayaking, wellness activity, intimate chats, and high-energy gigs.

Ornithologist Seán Ronayne from Cobh, Co. Cork, is on a mission to record the sound of every bird species in Ireland – that’s nearly 200 birds. In a sound-packed, illustrative talk packed with humour and insight, Seán will bring nature enthusiasts on a beautiful journey through Irish birds, sharing their sounds, stories, and struggles.

The new wellness village at Killarney House & Gardens promises a host of soul-nourishing experiences in a haven of harmony. Located in the courtyard within the National Park, the specially erected festival hub is the location for the exciting lineup of wellness sessions.

Visitors can explore the nocturnal world of bats on a guided walk in the National Park or experience a sunrise dip in the lake at Dundag followed by a traditional sauna by the lakeshore with a panoramic window of the surrounding mountains.

Most events are ticketed, with some free activities also available.
