Townend To Promote Mount Juliet
Mount Juliet Estate has announced a partnership with Paul Townend, one of the most successful and respected figures in National Hunt racing. As “brand ambassador”, Paul will work in collaboration with Mount Juliet Estate to deliver a series of campaigns and guest experiences.
Mount Juliet Estate, located in the heart of County Kilkenny, shares a longstanding connection with the world of equestrian sport. The estate has upheld a tradition of horsemanship for over 400 years and is home to one of Europe’s finest riding centres.
Based in County Kilkenny, Paul Townend is a seven-time Irish Champion Jockey. He made history in 2024 by becoming the first jockey to win the Champion Hurdle, Cheltenham Gold Cup, Aintree Grand National and King George VI Chase in a single season.
Having joined Willie Mullins’ stable at the age of 15, Paul progressed quickly through the ranks, stepping into the position of number one rider following the retirement of the legendary Ruby Walsh.
Mark Dunne, general manager of Mount Juliet Estate, said: “We are very much looking forward to working with Paul to celebrate the enduring relationship between sport, heritage and hospitality here in County Kilkenny.”
