Tourism Ireland is ‘Best Tourist Board’
Tourism Ireland has won a travel award in Canada, being named "Best Tourist Board UK / Europe / Middle East / Africa".
The award was presented to Tourism Ireland in Toronto at the 5th annual Readers’ Choice Awards, now a major event in the travel industry calendar in Canada.
For the second year in a row, Tourism Ireland took the number one spot coming in ahead of competitor tourist boards, including Italy, France, Great Britain, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain.
TravelPulse Canada is a key resource for travel industry professionals, and thousands of travel advisors across Canada placed their votes to recognise the outstanding achievements of people and organisations working in the travel trade in Canada.
Welcoming news of the award, Sandra Moffatt, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Canada, said:
