Three Days of Art
A celebration titled "Art in the Gardens" is being hosted by Artform at Mount Congreve Gardens in Waterford on the May Bank Holiday weekend, May 4th - 6th, 2024.
On May 4th from 10am to 5pm, those who would like to paint or watch artists at work in the gardens can enjoy a "paint-out" led by guest artists from Artform. The guest artists will be on hand to provide constructive feedback, and participating artists will have the opportunity to show and sell their works on the day in a pop-up "exhibition on easels". Those participating can also enjoy a picnic lunch in the gardens from The Pantry at CLIFF at Mount Congreve Gardens.
On May 5th from 10am to 4pm, there will be masterclasses led by artists Eamon Colman, Róisín Curé, Sinéad Lucey and Julie Cusack.
In addition, there will be a new exhibition in the Stables Café. The exhibition theme is "Bucolica", inspired by the bucolic essence of rural life, the tranquillity of nature and pastoral beauty, set against the backdrop of Mount Congreve House and Gardens.
