Students Stage ‘Bridgerton’ Feast

The Commis Chef Apprentice Class of 2024-2026 created a grandiose Bridgerton-themed lunch at the College of FET Hospitality Campus in Roxboro, Limerick.

The event included 20 chefs and a further 20 apprentices providing service.

Micheline Corr of The Firm (pictured with the commis chefs) had the privilege of tasting the stunning skills of the talented apprentices. The complex, creative menu delighted the diners, with the theme continuing through to the ornate table design, music and room decoration.

Bernadette Enright of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board was presented with an award at the event to recognise her "Outstanding Contribution within the Apprenticeship Community" by Dr Maryliz Trant of SOLAS.

The Commis Chef Apprenticeship allows students to earn and learn by studying two days a week on campus alongside working three days a week in industry over the two years.
