‘Olympics’ Gold for Midlands

A team from the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, were winners of the Irish Accommodation Services Institute National Accommodations Olympics 2025, which was held in the Clayton Hotel, Galway.

The annual event attracted 26 teams of accommodation services staff from hotels throughout the country. They competed in a series of teamwork tests reflecting their many and varied skills under the scrutiny of adjudicators.

Teams representing Cork International Hotel and The K Club were joint runners-up.

The teams and guests, who included IHF Galway Chair Padraig Nolan, were welcomed by IASI President Madeleine Dermody.
