November Opening for Meeting Venue

Dublin’s next meeting and events venue, the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, will open in November.

It is located in the new Le Pole Square development, under the same ownership of the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin and Velvære Spa. This marks the final phase of the development on the historic site.

This latest addition to the hotel offers a new, purpose-built convention centre. Offering convenient, functional and flexible facilities, the venue will offer private boardrooms and can accommodate conferences of up to 800 people and banquets for 550 guests.

With over 2,700sqm of meeting and event space with capacity for over 1,100 delegates, the new venue spans over two floors, consisting of the main plenary room, five break-out rooms and an exhibition space. The complex now offers 20 meeting spaces across the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel and Dublin Royal Convention Centre, as well as outdoor, open-air event space.

The main Douglas Hyde Suite (named after Ireland’s first president) on the ground floor level of the Dublin Royal Convention Centre spans almost 705sqm to facilitate 800 delegates theatre style or up to 550 banquet style.

In addition, the Dublin Royal Convention Centre can accommodate guests with 234 bedrooms available at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin, as well as the existing hotel meeting spaces, which, added to the new convention centre capacity, brings the total meeting space across the two properties to almost 4,000sqm.
