Nolan Wins Sustainability Award

Stephen Nolan, Managing Director, Nutritics, won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Sustainability Award at a gala awards dinner in Powerscourt Hotel.

This was the first time the Sustainability Award was presented, recognising the critical importance of innovation leadership in meeting our collective sustainability challenges. Stephen was named as winner for the company’s Foodprint service - an easy-to-use carbon footprint scoring, display and reporting system that helps food businesses and their customers manage and measure their carbon impact.

Nutritics estimates that in 2023, Foodprint will contribute to the removal of approximately 27 million kilograms of CO2, the equivalent to the emissions of around 21,000 cars or the intake of 1.6 million trees.

More broadly, Nutritics is a food technology software that is designed to help food service businesses be safer, more sustainable and ultimately more profitable. Their technology uses food data such as allergens, nutrition, cost, provenance and carbon footprint to help answer two key questions from the food business and the restaurant customer perspectives.

Nutritics was established in 2003 and serves customers across over 100 countries.
