
Munchd Challenges Big Boys
Munchd, an Irish online food ordering platform, has launched a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices.
This app, developed over the past year with the digital team at Dundalk-based marketing agency ZOMA, offers a direct alternative to established giants like Just Eat and Uber Eats.
The company says that the app offers “a seamless and convenient ordering experience for customers while maintaining its groundbreaking 1% commission model for restaurants”. It claims that, typically, the larger competitors charge 10% - 30% commission.
The Munchd app includes easy browsing of a diverse selection of local restaurants and takeaways in one location. Users get streamlined ordering, placing orders quickly and easily with an intuitive and user-friendly interface. The app also provides access to exclusive deals, a loyalty programme, and promotions available only through the app.
