Mount Congreve Adds Suite and Lodge

A suite has been restored and is available for overnight stays at Mount Congreve House in County Waterford. In addition, the estate has added a new gate lodge accommodation at the nearby Whitfield Court.

“The Courtyard Suite” is located in the West Wing of Mount Congreve House and has a separate entrance through the shared house courtyard. With original architectural features including vaulted ceilings and marble flooring, it has been decorated to a high standard. A cooked-to-order breakfast in the Stables Café by the Pantry at CLIFF is included for each stay as well as  access to the 70 acres of Mount Congreve Gardens.

The newly-restored Whitfield Court Gate Lodge is a short drive from Mount Congreve Gardens, on the 18th-century Whitfield Court Estate. The one-bedroom Gate Lodge is dog-friendly and features a fully fitted open-plan kitchen, a cosy living room equipped with a Smart TV, and a double bedroom.

These  new accommodation options are in addition to the main two-bedroom gate lodge at Mount Congreve Gardens. Officially opening later this year will be five new Forest Eco-Cabins plus three gate lodges “Rowan”, “Oak” and “Acorn”.
