Les Clefs d'Or at Fota
Fota Island Resort hosted the annual provincial meeting of Les Clefs d'Or Ireland. The two-day event showcased the five-star Fota Island Resort and the surrounding area to fellow members of the group.
John Coleman, Head of Concierge at Fota Island Resort, joined Les Clefs d'Or Ireland in 2021 and organised a host of activities for attendees to experience, including visiting the Cobh Queenstown experience and a tour of the English Market.
Les Clefs d’Or Ireland members from The Europa Belfast, Killarney Park Hotel, Adare Manor, The Europe Killarney, Ashford Castle, The Merrion and The Westbury in Dublin were in attendance.
Several speaking appointments took place during the two-day event, from a host of Cork’s most influential voices including the Lord Mayor of Cork, Councillor Kieran McCarthy; Cork County Mayor, Councillor Frank O'Flynn; President of Cobh Harbour Chamber of Commerce, Toddy Stafford; Director of People, Operations and Governance at Cork Chamber, Naoimh Frawley; Head of “Visit Cork”, Seamus Heaney; and President of the Cork Business Association, Kevin Herlihy.
Les Clefs d’Or (which translates to The Golden Keys) is a professional association of hotel concierges, with over 3,500 members working in every corner of the world.
