
Killashee Conference Upgrade
Following the completion of the first phase of refurbishment of the four-star Killashee Hotel by new owner FBD Hotels & Resorts, the conference facilities at the hotel have undergone a transformation as part of the €5 million investment up to the end of 2024.
The conference facilities at Killashee including conference rooms, meeting spaces and breakout rooms have been upgraded to feature new contemporary furnishings, AV systems, built in screens, LCD Projectors, Nespresso coffee machines and high speed WiFi.
On the first floor, there are five meeting rooms centred around the Larkspur lounge. Newly decorated and furnished with contemporary and comfortable neutrals, the room are adaptable to purpose and numbers. The Blue Room can accommodate up to 20, while Boardroom 1 can seat 50 people cabaret style, Boardroom 2 accommodates 20 people and The Fountain Suite can also seat 50 people cabaret style.
Refurbishment of The Lockewood Suite, the main conference space with its own reception that can cater for 600 theatre style or 350 classroom style, will be completed by early August. An imaginative environment, this space can be divided into three independent meeting rooms or transformed into an exhibition centre, indoor team building area or car display area with direct access to the Rathaskar Lawns.
