Inspiration at Delphi

Artist Dora Keogh is hosting a panting workshop at Delphi Lodge and Estate this November. Guests will enjoy experimenting with watercolour, while more advanced participants are welcome to work in the medium of their choice.

Dora was born in Dublin and today lives in the scenic town of Olhao in the Algarve Portugal. She studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design and has worked with masters such as Roger Dellar, Grahame Booth and Dawn Oliver.
She has been exhibiting every year since 1999. Her works are in Ireland, San Diego, Dallas, Charleston, Nova Scotia and Toronto and are are hanging at WWF, Toronto and Brandes International.

Dora is also an accomplished teacher. Her Absolute Beginners workshop, which she now brings to Delphi Lodge, has been the inspiration for many to pick up a paint brush. Students begin with curiosity and trepidation and end with confidence and self-satisfaction.

Delphi Lodge is at once warm and inviting and in tempo with the thin atmosphere of the mountains that abut it, and we are excited to see Dora apply her en plein air practice and the sensibilities of her Mediterranean workshops to the west of Ireland in November light.

This Painting Holiday includes a welcome reception with Dora, a full Irish breakfast cooked to order each morning, cocktails and canapés each evening, and dinner with Dora.
