Country Stars for hotel cabaret

Two of the brightest young stars of  Ireland’s booming country music scene will headline Harvey’s Point Summer Cabaret this year- and they will be joined by Irish

entertainment legend Red Hurley.
Harvey’s Point is also offering visitors an array if opportunities to linger in the multi-award winning hotel while taking in an evening at the Cabaret Dinner Show.
In a proud tradition of introducing the best of Irish talent, Noel Cunningham, the hotel’s general manager and Cabaret Master of Ceremonies, will present Cliona Hagan(pictured with Noel) and Barry Kirwan during the show’s 18 weeks run with Red Hurley performing on 28th June and 5th July and returning again in October.
Tyrone-born Cliona O’Hagan has swapped ‘opera for Opry’ having sung with the Welsh National Opera and qualifying as a music teacher before bursting onto the country music scene last year. She made her television debut at the age of 12 on the ‘Late Late Toy Show’ and has also guested on BBC tv’s ‘Hearts and Souls’.  She is currently enjoying huge success with her single ‘I need someone to hold me when I cry’.
Country music is also in the DNA of   Barry Kirwan, whose father Dominic is one of the ‘greats’. He is a champion Irish dancer, an accomplished actor and a highly talented drummer, having studied in London and worked in Nashville before joining his father’s band. He has also worked in Ireland, Britain and Australia with Lisa McHugh and Derek Ryan. Since embarking on a solo career, Barry has been nominated as ‘Newcomer of the  Year’ at the  RTE Irish Country Music Awards and has had chart success in Ireland the UK with his single ‘Keep it in the Middle of the Road’.
The line-up at the  2017 Harvey’s Point Summer Cabaret also includes all-time favourites Gary Gamble, Fiddler Adam, Adrian Cullen, Conal Gallen, David James, Gerard and  Aine Byrne and the Queen of the dance floor, ‘Mary B’, with the  Jody Gallagher Bluestack Ensemble.
The two and a half hour evening includes a five-course dinner featuring Harvey’s Point famous starter and dessert buffets, Cabaret and dancing. Tickets cost €59 and special packages are also available combining an evening at the Cabaret with an extended stay at Harvey’s Point Hotel. The two-night break  (€ 259pps) includes accommodation in a luxury suite, breakfast in the Lakeside restaurant, wine-tasting and cookery demonstrations and there is also an option of staying at ‘The Lodge @Harvey’s Point’  with packages priced from €199pps.
Guests also have the opportunity of  enjoying ‘Home-made Holidays at Harvey’s Point’ which allows them to design their own four or five night break from a range of  options which include exploring the North West section of the Wild Atlantic Way, hill-walking, a Donegal Bay cruise and the full range of Harvey’s Point Hotel facilities including  the Cabaret and gourmet meals in the Lakeside restaurant.
