The company that operates the Convention Centre Dublin has reported an operating profit of €4.9m for 2017, and said this year is set to be its most profitable ever. That's despite a drop in turnover from €23.6m in 2016 to €22.9m in 2017.
Turnover has risen significantly during 2018, the company said. Operating profit for 2017 was €4.9m.
Net debt is down from €92m to €72m from 2016 to 2017. The CCD building itself is owned by the Office of Public Works, and operates under a 25-year licence agreement.
