Imelda's 'Literary Travelogue'
Tourism Ireland has teamed up with singer-songwriter Imelda May, in a new two-part TV series called 'Voices of Ireland', which premiered on Sky Arts and NOW in Britain yesterday...
Working with Red Shoe Productions, Tourism Ireland supported the production of the series, fronted by Imelda May. It will be a literary travelogue, about our past and present poets, playwrights and writers, as well as our musicians, singers and actors. Viewers will see Imelda meet well-known personalities like Moya Brennan, Stephen Rea, Sharon Shannon and many more.
Filming for the series took place at various literary and cultural hot-spots right around Ireland earlier this year. To watch a preview from Voices of Ireland, click here.
