Hook and Ladder’s Runway Run
Hook & Ladder, the Irish family-run eatery group, is sponsoring “Run the Runway”, which is landing at Dublin Weston Airport on Saturday, 12th April 2025.
This one-of-a-kind charity fun run gives participants the chance to run (or walk) 3k or 5k along an actual airport runway. The event will celebrate the grand opening of Hook & Ladder’s newest eatery, The 1931, an addition to the Dublin Weston Airport experience.
The 1931 pays homage to Weston’s rich history, which was founded in 1931, and offers visitors a modern, relaxed Grab & Go concept.
Having soft launched their full-service Hook & Ladder restaurant upstairs at Dublin Weston Airport 18 months ago, it has become a popular venue for families, business people, and aviation enthusiasts.
The family-friendly charity event kicks off at 8.00am (run starts at 8:45am), with pre-run entertainment courtesy of Red Bull’s Official DJ, I Am Ceese. Following the run, participants can enjoy coffee and treats from Hook & Ladder, while taking in panoramic views from The 1931 - all in aid of Lucan Special Olympics Sports Club and Celbridge GAA All Stars.
