Great Places to Work (Ireland) has named 51 hospitality businesses in its inaugural “Best Workplaces in Hospitality” list. They have a total of almost 40,000 employees.

Due to the industry’s inherently people-centric nature, prioritising employee needs is paramount; when the quality of service is directly influenced by the attitudes and wellbeing of staff, ensuring that employees feel valued, supported and motivated is crucial.
When surveyed by Great Place to Work, 80% of employees at these organisations agreed with the statement “taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work”. A further 84% agreed that they are “proud to tell others they work here”. When it comes to opinions on leadership, the sentiment among employees at the Best Workplaces in Hospitality is positive – 83% feel that management is approachable and easy to talk with.
