Fleadh to Return to Mullingar

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann has confirmed that the Fleadh Cheoil is returning to Mullingar next year.

The announcement was made following a meeting of the ard-chomhairle at Cultúrlann na hÉireann in Monkstown, Co Dublin. Mullingar hosted the Fleadh earlier this summer, welcoming in the region of 500,000 visitors to the town. 

Wexford and Belfast had made applications to host the event next year.
