Event Buyers Visit WAW

Seven business events buyers from Britain have been exploring Ireland as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. Their programme was designed in partnership with Wallace Travel Group.  

Their itinerary included a food tour of Galway city, a traditional Irish singing and dancing workshop at Stiúideo Cuan and a guided tour of Micil Distillery. The group also enjoyed learning about Ireland’s boglands at Cnoc Suain, a 4x4 jeep adventure with Orangeworks and a visit to the Cliffs of Moher.

David Boyce, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Business Events and Luxury, said: 

“Seeing is definitely believing, and this visit was a valuable opportunity to highlight Ireland as a premier destination for business events.”
