Earth Day at the Conrad

Conrad Dublin celebrated Earth Day by planting trees on behalf of its guests, demonstrating its commitment to operating more sustainably.

Through a new partnership with leading reforestation charity Hometree, 200 native Irish trees have been pledged on behalf of guests, tackling Ireland’s declining biodiversity and aiding reforestation measures across the nation.

This comes as part of the five star hotel’s wider “Travel with Purpose” scheme, a bid to bring sustainable measures to the forefront of the luxury travel sector.

In the broad context of the hospitality industry, Conrad Dublin has recognised a need for luxury hotels to take more responsibility in sustainability for the benefit of not only its guests but also the planet, through initiatives from reforestation to beekeeping with OpenHive Honey.

The hotel’s new Green Team oversees this to ensure the award-winning hotel is as eco-friendly as possible, working under the guidance of the Environmental Social and Governance framework.
