Dublin Selects a Winner
Aloft Dublin City Hotel hosted a luminous celebration in the sky yesterday evening for the 2024/2025 IHF Dublin Branch Employee of the Year Awards. Out of the 29 finalists, Marta Miranda, Food & Beverage Supervisor at The Green, O’Callaghan Collection, was announced the overall winner of the night and will go on to represent Dublin in the national finals next month.

Judges Margaret Corbett and Peggy Kim commented on the incredibly high calibre of all the nominees and the difficulty of choosing just one winner. However Marta’s exceptional attention to detail, deep commitment to the guest experience, and strong emphasis on collaborative communication with her team, combined with a wisdom, maturity and capability beyond her years, firmly declared her the overall winner. It’s no surprise that The O’Callaghan Collection has chosen her as their first Operations Trainee Manager across the collection.
Merit award winners from the night included:
- Irina Antal Corbu, Graduate Manager, Ashling Hotel: Rising Star Award
