Druid Chef Carves for Cancer

"Druid Chef" Rory Morahan is supporting Childhood Cancer Ireland by using his carving skills to create exclusive pumpkins over the holiday weekend.

Rory will be taking part in Bray Lions Club annual Pumpkin Carving event, which sees Lions carve hundreds of pumpkins for visitors to the Killruddery Estate Harvest Festival. All proceeds from the activity will be donated to Childhood Cancer Ireland.

Visitors to Killruddery over the weekend can buy pumpkins and then have them carved by the Lions Team. They can also participate in novel competitions and pose for family portraits.

A special pumpkin, carved by the Druid Chef Rory Morahan from Bray, will be a prize in a raffle.

Rory is pictured with his pumpkin sculpture "Big Hal O’Ween", Bray Lions Club President Irene Milner, and Lions Project Leader George Lynch.
