De Jong Top at Marker

Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel has appointed experienced Minor Hotels hotelier Ludo de Jong as general manager. In his new role, the Dutch national will continue positioning the hotel as the social and business hub of the regenerated Docklands.

De Jong led several high-profile rebranding, pre-opening and large-scale renovation projects. Notably, his passion for gastronomy has been pivotal in developing and launching several acclaimed food and beverage outlets, including Michelin-starred restaurants.

He joins Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel from his position as Cluster General Manager at NH Collection Barbizon Palace Amsterdam and Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam. Previously, he led the team to open NH Collection Eindhoven Centre and previously served as Assistant Hotel Director at what was then NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.

De Jong actively participates in the European Hotel Managers Association (EHMA) and has been a volunteer member of Rotary International since 2017. He also served as a Board Member of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland Amsterdam (KHN), the largest organisation representing hospitality businesses in the Netherlands.
