Cork Hotels Swing to Jazz
The 47th Guinness Cork Jazz Festival takes place this weekend with a mix of music, energy and atmosphere.
From the soulful power of Lee Fields & The Expressions and the timeless rhythms of Orchestra Baobab joined by the gospel-energy of Annie & The Caldwells, this year’s festival spans jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop, world sounds and beyond.
Hotels enjoy an annual bonanza during the Festival, and the Imperial Hotel is a key venue for jazz. The hotel’s bar and restaurant spaces are set to host their own electrifying mix of free performances with big brass bands and local and national jazz legends.
