Failte Ireland hosted a Dublin Coastal Trail industry event in its office on Amiens Street, Dublin, to build collaboration and increase cross-selling opportunities between tourism businesses along the Dublin coastline.

The Dublin Coastal Trail was developed by Fáilte Ireland in partnership with Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Fingal County Council and Irish Rail, with the aim of opening up access to the Dublin coastline and encouraging international and domestic visitors to explore the towns, outdoor activities and attractions that lie within easy reach of the city centre.
Fáilte Ireland’s Dublin team provided the attendees with an update on key initiatives, while guest speaker Dominic O’Mórain, general manager at Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel, spoke about how he uses the Wild Atlantic Way brand to leverage his business and his learning from the Connemara and Aran Islands Destination and Experience Development Plan. Tourism expert Julie O’Brien then outlined how to position the Dublin Coastal Trail for success and the opportunities it presents for businesses to act as a unified visitor destination.
