Clefs d’Or Meets at Fota
Fota Island Resort hosted the Irish Executive Committee of Les Clefs d'Or who welcomed members of the Executive Committee of Great Britain to Cork. The two-day event highlighted the five-star Fota Island Resort and the spectacular surrounding area of Cork to fellow members of the group.
Head of Concierge at Fota Island Resort, John Coleman joined Les Clefs d'Or Ireland in 2021 and last year was elected as Secretary of the Les Clefs d’Or Irish Society. For this year’s event, John organised a host of wonderful activities for the group including trips to the Jameson Distillery, the Queenstown Experience at The Cobh Heritage Centre and Spike Island, as well as a private dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, The Cove, prepared by Head Chef Eoghan O’Flynn.
Les Clefs d’Or Ireland members in attendance included members from The Killarney Park; Clayton Hotel, Burlington Rd; Druids Glen; The Europa Hotel, Belfast; Ashford Castle and The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast and were joined by the Great Britain Executive Committee members including President Toru Machida from The Cadogan, London, and Vice President Binoy Nair from St James Court.
