‘Bikinis and Balaclavas’ Apology

A spa resort in Co Antrim has issued an apology over a "bikinis and balaclavas" advertisement following a backlash.

Rosnashane House, located in Ballymoney, said it was not their intention to "cause offence" by the name of one of the packages that they offer. The management said on Facebook they will be renaming the package and asked the public for help with coming up with a new name.

"Over the weekend it was brought to our attention that the name of our Bikinis & Balaclavas package may have caused offence," they wrote.

"This was never our intention, and although the feedback on the package has been positive, we want everyone to feel welcome at Rosnashane House."
