Ahern, Kielty for ITIC Conference

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Late Late Show presenter Patrick Kielty have been announced as speakers at the ITIC Tourism Conference which takes place in Athlone next September. Both will be interviewed on stage by conference MC, broadcaster Dearbhail McDonald.

The opening address will be delivered by Elaina Fitzgerald Kane, chairman of ITIC, while Failte Ireland CEO Paul Kelly and Tourism Ireland interim CEO Siobhan McManamy will join economist Jim Power in a panel discussion.

A second panel session will feature Dearbhail in discussion with Anita Mendiratta (UNWTO), Cathy Bryce (AIB) and Geraldine Enright (Cliffs of Moher).
