Tourism 'Story Workshop'

Fifty Irish tourism enterprises came together at the Gresham Hotel in Dublin, for an innovative workshop organised by Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. The event – titled “Have you a story to tell?” – explored how tourism businesses around the country

Airport Loop wins in Cannes

The Loop at Dublin Airport is celebrating after winning two Frontier Awards at the TFWA in Cannes. 
Aer Rianta International (ARI) picked up the most coveted accolade at the Frontier Awards,  for Airport Retailer of the Year, Single Location, for The Loop at Dublin Airport in Terminal 1. The newly redeveloped all new Loop was unveiled to the public earlier this year after an €8 million investment, developed based on customer feedback. Last year’s winner and this year’s runner up was world renowned Dubai Duty Free. 
 

'Pride of Place Online

The IPB Pride of Place Awards ceremony will be streamed live online this year, organisers have announced.
 Up to 1,000 people from all over the island of Ireland will gather in Treacy's West County Hotel, Ennis, Co. Clare, on Saturday, November 14th, for a ceremony hosted by Clare County Council and Cooperation Ireland, which runs the competition north and south of the border. It is the first time in the 13-year history of the all-island competition that the same county has hosted the ceremony two years running.
