Dominos Irish Sales Rise

Domino's Pizza Group, which controls the franchise for the business in the UK, Ireland and a number of other European territories, said that sales in Ireland were 6.5pc higher here in the 26 weeks to June 28, without giving an actual figure.
There are 47 Domino's stores in Ireland, with an outlet in Tallaght, Dublin, traditionally considered to have been one of the busiest stores in the global network.
Domino's said that online sales in Ireland were 29.2pc higher in the period compared to the first 26 weeks of 2014.
It said that online sales now represent 51pc of total delivered sales in Ireland, compared to 43.1pc in the prior period.
Domino's added that its app now accounts for 59.8pc of all online sales in Ireland, compared to 40.3pc in the prior period.

The largest Domino's franchise operator in Ireland is owned by Northern Ireland businessmen Charles and Adrian Caldwell.
