Paul Carty to retire

Paul Carty, who has led the Guinness Storehouse from its 2002 foundation to its status today as Ireland's top tourist attraction, is retiring.pcarty0220
Replacing him in April as managing director will be Catherine Toolan, a global events organiser who most recently has overseen Belfast's premier convention centre.
Diageo credited Mr Carty with growing the Storehouse from 300,000 visitors to almost 1.8 million last year.
Ms Toolan, a native of Coolaney, Co Sligo, spent a decade overseeing global sports and events for Aramark, including services at the athletes villages for the Olympics in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012.
Since 2016, she has been CEO of the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.
