The Doyle Collection has added the WelleCo Nourishing Protein Powder Boosting Berry Smoothie to The Juicery menu at The Westbury.

The drink is a blend of almond milk, frozen berries, bananas, dates and Elle Macpherson’s ‘Super Elixir’ Nourishing Vanilla Protein Powder’.

Created by international leaders in nutrition and integrative medicine the newest Juicery offering assists individuals in functioning at the optimal level. Euro agents in Ancient East

Travel agents, representing top tour operators Eurotours, Sabtours, AG Traveltrend, Cotravel and ThobaReisen from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, are in Ireland to learn more about Fáilte Ireland’s major tourism brands the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East

The tailored visit is hosted and managed by Fáilte Ireland in collaboration with Tourism Ireland to maximse opportunities around the new air routes available through Cork Airport. Following a welcome reception at the airport, the group enjoyed a walking tour of the City; paid a site visit of the Trident Hotel in Kinsale, visited the Charles Fort, dinner and an overview of Ferhill House Hotel and Gardens in Clonakilty ahead of visiting Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel.

Wetherspoon plans Dublin hotel

Pub group JD Wetherspoon is to spend €15 million on its development of a “superpub” and 98-bedroom hotel in Dublin city centre.

The company is set to start work in February 2018, with the pub and hotel set to open early 2019.

Some 200 jobs will be created at the site, which is currently a row of derelict properties on Camden Street.

The pub will be set over two levels and will feature a beer garden. The company also said its hotel bedrooms will be equipped to accommodate people with disabilities.

A number of historical aspects of the derelict buildings will be retained and restored. These include a circular stained glass window which was crafted by Earley & Company.

German media in Clare

f gardens which will give a major boost in counties Clare, Galway and Limerick. These influential media have a combined circulation of over 1 million and write for a number of national and regional newspapers in Germany.

Swiss read about Cork

Passengers on Swiss International Air Lines flights are reading all about Cork city and county this month – in a major article which appears in

the June edition of the airline’s inflight magazine. The article coincides with the launch of the new Swiss International Air Lines service between Zurich and Cork, which kicked off at the beginning of June and will operate twice weekly for the summer season.

The magazine, which is distributed on all Swiss flights, has about 130,000 readers – or potential holidaymakers for Cork and Ireland. Tours Ireland in Switzerland, in conjunction with Fáilte Ireland, invited journalist Gero Günther and photographer Petr Neusser to visit earlier this year.
