f the international youth and adventure market and it’s potential to support increased international visitor numbers into Ireland. 
 The first of these workshops took place  in The Brehon Hotel, Killarney. Two more will take place this week in The Ardilaun Hotel, Galway (15 September) and The Clarion Hotel, Sligo (16 September). A final workshop is also scheduled in The Clyde Hotel, Dublin on 22 September. 
 
As well as the development of this market understanding, the workshops are also designed to help Irish tourism businesses learn the secrets to managing successful sales appointments in order to assist them in getting the best out of Fáilte Ireland’s upcoming ‘Wild Atlantic Way Expo’, which takes place this October.
 
The ‘Wild Atlantic Way Expo’ is part of a suite of new, Fáilte Ireland hosted, business to business sales platforms, taking place here in Ireland in 2015. 
 
This new expo, which takes place on the 19th October 2015 in the Salthill Hotel, Galway, will provide over 100 businesses with the opportunity to meet and do business with key international buyers specialising in the areas of youth and adventure travel.
 
The current workshops on the Wild Atlantic Way not only provide insights on the youth and adventure market, it also covers topics including - how to network for results, managing an effective one-to-one sales appointments; high performance sales meetings and social media tips. 
 
Speaking about the workshops Head of Leisure Sales for Fáilte Ireland, Paul Mockler said – 
 
“These workshops have been designed to ensure that businesses can make the most of the sales opportunities on offer at next month’s Wild Atlantic Way Expo, ensuring they understand this particular market segment and know how to turn their meetings into successful sales.  
 
“Insights into the markets attending, as well as top tips on how to create more sales opportunities, will not only serve them well for the upcoming event, it will also provide businesses with skills they can use on a daily basis to generate more business and attract more overseas visitors to Ireland.”
