Vagabrothers, Mark and Alex Ayling from California who are award-winning travel videographers and writers arrived in Sligo to experience and savour the sights, sounds, aromas and flavours of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Pictured in Sligo were Neil Walton, VOYA; Marko Ayling, Vagabrothers; Noelle Cawley, Fáilte Ireland and Alex Ayling, Vagabrothers.
Over the coming days the brothers will undertake a bespoke ten day itinerary of the Wild Atlantic Way, which was designed by Fáilte Ireland and supported by Tourism Ireland. Today, the brothers went surfing in Standhill with local surfer Seamus McGolderick, followed by lunch at Shells Café and then met with Neill Walton and experienced a seaweed bath at VOYA, immersing themselves in the Wild Atlantic Way’s finest natural produce, seaweed with its many health benefits.
Speaking about the visit, Joan Crawford, Manager of the Wild Atlantic Way Programme, Fáilte Ireland, said –
“It is a fantastic opportunity for Fáilte Ireland to showcase what the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer to audiences in important markets such as North America. North Americans are among the biggest spenders during their stay here in Ireland, so we welcome these top award-winning travel videographers who will spread the word on the Wild Atlantic Way to their readers and followers at home. With their reach and appeal we are confident that the Vagabrothers will put the Wild Atlantic Way on their followers 'must-visit’ list."
