
Ireland improved its Value for Money ratinng in the latest Failte Ireland Visitor Attituders Survey which was conducted among 1,500 visitors, in 2014 by Millward Brown.
Of those interviewed, 14% described their holiday as 'Very Good Value' compared to 9% who applied the same rating in 2013. The level of 'Good' rating was 41%, marginally down o 42% a year earlier and those giving their holiday a 'Fair' rating was 38%, one point down on 2013. Just 6% gave their Irish holiday a 'poor' or 'very poor' rating.
More than half (55%) of respndents said tnat their holiday 'exceeded expectations" 57% said they would return in the next few years and 69% said the would recommend an Irish holiday to friends.
As in previous surveys, the friendliness of the Irish people and theIrish landscape impressed visitors most.
