Figures just  released  show that visitors to our

Cultural Institutions which include museums, galleries and libraries have

increased significantly in the first half of 2010 when compared to the same

period last year.  The number of visits to Cultural

Institutions increased by an average of almost 9%.


The Natural History Museum which re opened in April, after three  years of

extensive refurbishment has seen around 9,500 visitors per week since

re-opening.
