Two new travel publications showcasing the island of Ireland
are about to hit the newsstands in Britain and Italy, profiling the best in holidays here.
The 26-page feature in The Sunday Times Travel magazine (circulation 65,500) and a new
Italian publication called Irlanda (120,000 readers) include photos and
holiday and short break ideas.
Tourism Ireland facilitated the visits of the journalists who wrote these features. Simon
Gregory, Tourism Ireland’s Director of Markets, said: “We are delighted with the
coverage in these publications. It is an excellent way of showcasing the island of
Ireland and the huge variety of things to see and do here to a large audience of
potential holidaymakers in Britain and Italy. The stunning photography captures and
complements the messages in our promotional campaigns and really tap into the
spontaneity and fun of holidaying here.”
