Carmen Wines is to continue its sponsorship of the Ulster Bank
Dublin Theatre Festival for 2010.
One of the highlights for Carmen will be the Chilean production, Diciembre - a
politically charged, blackly comic, razor-sharp, family drama from the new shining
light of Latin American theatre. Coming direct from the Edinburgh International
Festival, the Santiago based Theatre Company, Teatro en el Blanco is likely to
captivate Dublin audiences. .
The Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival brings the best of Irish and International
theatre to the capital for 18 days from 30th September. The Festival this year will
include International work, a focus on Polish theatre and culture, new Irish
productions, a very special Chilean production and many other special events.
The opening performance in the 2010 Festival will be CIRCA (Australia) – a breathtaking new
creation using acrobatic circus skills integrated with sound, light and projection.
