Profits at Ryanair grew 55 per cent to almost €400 million in the three months to the end of June.

The airline this morning that it earned €1.9 billion in the revenue during the three-month period – the first quarter of its financial year – 13 per cent more than during the same time in 2016.
Profit after tax grew 55 per cent to €397 million from €256 million, aided by the fact that Easter fell during the quarter, rather than just before it as it did last year.
