John Glynn, general manager of the Regency Hotel in Dublin was loud in his praise of the hotel's staff when he spoke

to Joe Duffy on RTE Radio yesterday.
'The good news from the weekend is that none of our staff and none of our guests were injured and we take a lot of comfort from that''The staff were truly magnifjcent', he said.'They looked after all our guests and despite the trauma which they experienced, are all back at work to-day'.
John Glynn described how he saw the gunmen in the lobby of the hotel and after he was ordered to lie on the floor, he managed to call a Garda inspector who answered the call immediately and had Gardai at the scene within minutes.
He said that the booking for the room in which the boxing weigh-in took place, as well as a number of guestrooms, originated from an agent in Spain.
