Nicky Logue has been appointed as general manager of Dublin's Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge.

He will move from the gibson holtel at The Point Village where he has been general manager for the past three years,
During his tenure, the gibson became 'home from home' to the Dublin football team who brought the San Maguire there for the past two years,
The gibson was also the location for the tv reality show 'First Dates' and established an 'artist in residence' programme as well as several other creative initiatives.
Clare-born Nicky Logue, who is a former president of the Irish Hospitality Institute said:
'I see the Intercon as a great opportunity in terms of sales, standards, team and profile. The Gibson has beena wonderful experience for me and I very much enjoyed my time there'.
