The Doyle Collection is to invest millions in  business and event facilities at its Cork city hotel, The River Lee.

The facilities have been branded as The Hub, a new area that will serve both big and small corporate clients.

Private rooms and an open-plan area will be established as part of the investment with click and go technology as well as high-speed wifi set to be included.Technology in The Hub has been set up to suit wireless presentations and wide-ranging meeting styles.

The chief executive at The Doyle Collection, Pat King, said The Hub was another part of a series of enhancements to the hotel.
