Dublin gets Doggy Café

A new café geared towards dog lovers and their companions has opened in Dublin.

'Pupp' is the brainchild of Ella Wallace and Paul Froggatt who quit their jobs at Google to set up shop on Clanbrassil Street and they hope the cafe will appeal to hungry pets in Dublin 8.
The new venture has marketed itself as Dublin’s “first truly dog-friendly cafe” and will offer punters, both dog and human, healthy, allergen-free treats in an “urban dining” setting.
The new cafe will also play home to a Pupp Store, where dog owners can pick up designer collars, leads and harnesses as well as high-end treats for man’s best friend.
The addition of a dog cafe has been welcomed by dog lovers in Dublin following a recent crackdown on animals in pubs by the HSE, which was criticised by publicans in the city.
